Bidrage med feedbackMy boyfriend and I had an amazing experience here. We were here for our anniversary and they gave us free wine. Mei was really attentive and funny. The food was better than I expected at a reasonable price. Definitely revisit when I come back to Sydney!
Found out that they no longer have a separate vegan menu. Instead labelling vegan items v. Ordered tofu, vermicelli, soup. Was nice but for me just a bit too much Coriander. Main was char kway teow which was nice, but a bit too oily for my taste. Also ordered Roti (after reading reviews that it was the best ever). Again, too oily. However, despite the above comments it wasn't too bad and I might come back.
Love this place! Friendly staff...great food. One of those places that deserves return visits time and time again. Great atmosphere as well with interesting decor that creates a great vibe. I'm a fan!
Coming to this restaurant I was expecting high end style food due to the fancy decor of the place, with romantic dim lighting and modern Asian style decor (also, the prices on the menu was very expensive). And that is what I received, kind of. The Peking duck and the pork belly dishes were full of umami flavour and quite scrumptious, however the shiitake and tofu soup was overtly bland and ultimately disappointing. The crisp chow mein was alright, nothing above average. Overall, the restaurant doesn't stand out to me, and I would not recommend because the price of the food does not reflect the quality.
Thai and Indian chef cooking Chinese food ???? Ancient Chinese decorations, food is a bit too sweet. I think it's because Thai food is always sweeter and have more sugar. Not too sure why it is marketed as Chinese food ?
