The Continental Mid-town

Philly friend took us here for group lunch. Wonderful. Love the circular cozy banquettes which are perfectly sized for groups of 4+.

There is a rooftop on the third floor that’s indoor seating with AC and cover for the rain. It’s really a nice vibe. There is chic and the bars really nice too.

Work lunch with my peers. Forgot to get pictures of my edamame and banana creme brûlée but I recommend them for food choices. Definitely make a reservation because they were busy for lunch. We had one. While I feel it’s definitely an old timey vibe in there I enjoyed it. Service was great.

Party of about 10 treated very well for a weekday lunch. Friendly attentive staff; relaxed environment. My pad thai with shrimp was fine. Somebody else had Philly cheesesteak egg rolls they liked. Would go again.

Not one single vegetarian main course on the menu. Not one. In a large city like Philadelphia I would expect at least one dinner a vegetarian could eat.
