Great gourmet Chinese restaurant in Bangkok! We had the Peking duck, prepared Hong Kong style and dim sum. The pork buns were a hit with our kids. My son said it was the best meal he ever had. Highly recommend

While this is not as fancy as I thought it was gonna be, they still offer some interesting and fresh stuff. They have a Beautiful patio that feels like I'm at someone's home. There inside seating seems stuffy, so try to eat outside.The pork belly isn't special in its presentation, but it's quite satisfying. salty, porky, and the right amount of rendered fat. The peanuts are great in concept, but are presented in a dull, lazy fashions the skewer aspect is gimmicky, especially if they aren't cooking these on a robata.The churros are like nothing I've had before. In essence, this cod masa fried mix makes a lot of sense. What impressed me the most was that the cod was a part and not the whole flavor profile. I could also taste the nori, spices, corn masa, and (presumably) corn oil as well. The saffron aioli was a nice touch, even if I felt the saffron taste could have been stronger.The smoked beet quesadillas took me by surprise. Usually something of this nature can fall flat, but not in this case. What makes this dish work is how fresh all the ingredients were. I could taste every aspect individually as well as in unison. I rarely have specialty tortillas, so the cactus tortillas were not the usual fanfare. The grilled queso fresco was the workhorse of the meal, offering this salty, intense savory component among most of the light vegetables. The arugula, cactus, and radishes all gave off this southwest California vibe that I enjoyed immensely.Although I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here if you are a tourist, I was satisfied with what they had to offer. As a laid back neighborhood restaurant, this is great. When compared to the rest of the haute cuisine in town, its not in the same league.
