Kanella - Darby Township

Loved this little find. Had to grab dinner while my family member was in the hospital down the street. They were wonderful and so was the food!

My friend and I shared three appetizers. The roasted Brussels sprouts were fair. The halloumi was delivered at room temp and tasted like a block of salt- far from the description on the menu of cheese with dates, nuts, and apricots. The roasted beet salad was delivered with greens that were limp. The pita bread was burnt. The bathroom floor was sticky. It was a Saturday afternoon at 4:30 and a most dissatisfying experience! I won’t be returning.

Delicious Greek food, it was my first time having it and so, being there. Very nice place, not too big so also intimate. The service was very nice as well. Quality food and price were good!

Truly one of our favorite spots from our time in philly! we loved the fresh, amazing food! we would sit outside and it was just the perfect spot!

We got the tasting menu which was not satisfying. There are many better Mediterranean restaurants in the city. The watermelon salad was just 4 big chunk of watermelon, once I asked where is the mint they just brought a bowl of mints for me. The pumpkin dessert is awful. Portion sizes are smaller when you order the tasting menu. Restrooms need major renovations. Sheppard Salad was hot!! Our server was fantastic though.
