Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken - Danville

Great service! Fresh hot food delivered to my car as I waited only a very short time. The order was accurate. The server had excellent customer service skills. He should be commended!

Drove out of my way thursday 7/28/22 just to get Lee's Chicken for dinner (12 pc wasn't cheap)got home dinner was cooked so today Friday I take it out the fridge to throw in the air fryer to find I have more than what i ordered (fried chicken feathers). DISGUSTING DISGUSTING DISGUSTING !!!! I can not eat this garbage nor feed it to my grand girlsHow do you not see feathers sticking out of the chicken and not clean it BUT, Cook and sell it to your customers DISGUSTING not one piece but three pcs of chicken had FRIED FEATHERS. The bad part is the manager filled my order.....Trifling never again.......BEWARE OF LEE'S FAMOUS CHICKEN ON SOUTH JEFFERSON AND GRAVOIS STL.

Very good chicken. Also loved their coleslaw.. amazing.

Really good chicken. I got the chicken breast strips and it’s like they literally tore that awesome giant first hunk of tender breast meat off the breast, you know the one I mean, and then deep fried that. Biscuit was buttery and had a good texture, was just a little over cooked, I bet when they’re perfectly cooked they’d make the whole meal. Macaroni salad tasted like the kind a nice Midwest grandma would bring to a church potluck. A little cheese, some crunchy veggies like onion. They even had fried liver and gizzards, my mom would’ve been stoked!Super reasonable prices for what we got. Everyone working there was super young AND were both super polite and attentive.Would definitely go out of my way to go here again.

The last couple times I have been here the chicken seems it has been sitting in the bin a bit. I even got there at 430 pm to get fresh. The fried pickles were soggy as if they pre fried them before my order. 48 dollars later I wasn’t very happy.
