Pine Grove Diner - Danbury

A little difficult to spot if you 're not a local, but that 's the only complaint I have! Very convenient parking, friendly and accommodating staff, and the food is delicious. Pine Grove Diner offers the quintessential small-town diner experience. I 'd like to highlight the French toast/pancake/waffle specials, which my brother thoroughly enjoyed. They handled customization requests very well, too: both my Dad 's simple no onions, please omelet and my mixed juice (thanks again, y 'all, it was perfect) went through without a hitch. It 's family-owned and the staff are quite lovely to chat with! I would absolutely recommend eating here.

Just moved here, and have been trying out the different diners. This little diner has the best breakfast! I got the eggs Benedict with home fries, all of the other diners serve par boiled potatoes that are semi mashed then fried for their home fries. This is the only place I’ve been to that actually quarters their potatoes for home fries! Highly recommended!

Really nice local diner. We had breakfast. Service was excellent. The place was decorated with vintage photos of the town. Very charming. Highly recommended!
