Monarch Beach Golf Links - Dana Point

I'm a beginner golfer. my sister took this beautiful golf course. it was super fairway and bunker is everywhere and so deep. the sea view was beautiful. I couldn't even enjoy well because I was so embarrassing my terrible shot on this day but wish I could go back as soon as I can.

Perhaps the pelican hill facilities pampered me, but I had expected such a thing when I went to the monarch beach for the first time. In the Pro-Shop checked and gave them my credit card only for the person behind the theke, inviting me to leave a tip of 20? or I could push the down button, of course. what a creepy greeting for the guests, so they immediately feel uncomfortable. a tip for me to hand over my credit card to the guy so I can play the golf course? tacky. next stop was the small breakfast place. again, prominent pointed jar placed on the show with 5 and 10 bills by the woman behind the counter. I asked her to see or milk for my coffee and she showed me to the small cheap nescafé artificial aromen. I asked if she had real cream or milk and she said no, but they have it in the hotel. is it really too much to increase the kitchen in this breakfast place by simply offering fresh cream or milk? I could only find hazelnut and vanilla flavors. if I'm forced to use the fake cream, then maybe they offer those who are supposed to taste like cream? when I ordered the coffee, the grill guy cried out, we have prefabricated burritos if they want one. all in it. No, thank you, I want a fresh order. I didn't tell him that because he cooks my food, but again very sticky and cheap and coughing. Although he was next to the young lady who gave me the coffee, he had again a prominent drinker full of 5 and 10 bills in your face. after the Pro-Shop experience this felt like a shakerdown at each touch point. I asked the grill guy if he had any jalapeños and he ignored me. So I asked him again and he said I heard you, and he has something for me. I was just there to have a great time and felt very happy and excited about playing monarch for the first time. first impressions count, youngs. I only come to the rich to discover that there is not one. only a practice that green with pencils that they must meet. no holes. then the starter tells me we're starting today on number 10 because he speeds up the game. obviously it only helps their maintenance team by working them a few extra hours to work on the front nine. played the curs and enjoyed it very much. it helps if they have played it before because there are many preferred landing spots that are not obvious from the tea box. good golf course, disappointing, on the back nine to start and sticky introduction at the arrival.

This is truly one of the most impressive golf courses I've ever played, featuring top-notch greens. Every time we've had the pleasure of playing here, the staff have been incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive to all our needs. Additionally, the location, weather, and stunning views of the sea are absolutely breathtaking. It definitely deserves all 5 stars.

Very pristine golf course, super peaceful I can't imagine beating the amazing view. Energy of staff and fellow golfers was prefect. Great place to work on your game!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a fantastic experience! As avid golfers from out of town, we found everything to be incredible. The course is beautiful, but the highlight was definitely the staff. The starters and rangers were extremely helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Robert even walked a few holes with us, providing tips on where to aim our shots. We also tried food at the cafe, and it was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall, this has become one of my favorite courses I've played. It offers the same beach beauty as Pelican Hill, but without the hefty price tag and with a much better atmosphere.
