Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant is tucked away in a quite town near Disneyland Paris. It's totally worth getting a babysitter for the high quality food and service. The €57 prix fixe is a steal for the creativity and freshness that go into each dish. If oysters are on the menu, definitely order them. They'll be the best you'll ever have!

After our friends told us about Le Quincangrogne, we decided that maybe it was worth driving to Dampmart to test the place. First, and although the day was quite cloudy, we have to say that the setting is quite pleasant, as the restaurant/hotel is located by the Marne river. The building doesn't look so great from outside but once you get in, you won't get disappointed. Apart from maybe one guy who acted too familiar, the waiters were great. And the food was absolutely exquisite, from start to finish. Everything : appetizers, starters, main course, desserts and wines.Everybody loved what they ordered. I decided to go with red tuna, red mullet, and "fruits and vegetables" dessert. My plates were colourful and tasted delicious. Refined presentation and innovative cuisine. We also really liked when the Chef came and talked to us several times. We were also allowed to walk around the garden after the lunch, which was again, very pleasant, especially as by then, there was a bit of sun. We had booked about two months ago, but we were told that during weekdays, it's possible to get a table without making a reservation in advance. Our menus were 59€ / person but on weekdays, lunch menu is 39€. It may seem pricey but actually it is not. The quality is excellent, and you would pay much more if the restaurant was in Paris for instance. All the work and fresh products put into each plate justify the price. This place is truly one of the best in the area. I'm really a picky person and I seldom rate a restaurant a 5 but this one deserves the highest mark.

I was playing in a chess tournament in Noisiel where there are no decent restaurants so seeing this restaurant had one star in the Michelin guide, I decided to have lunch there on Sunday. I had a nice table by the window overlooking the garden and the river. I liked the modern decor without tablecloths. I had a look at the menu and found some information about the history of the building which was interesting. I also read some reviews on Trip Advisor and noted some very interesting replies from managment to people's comments. There was a 3 course lunch menu from Wednesday to Friday for €40, a 3 course menu for €61, a 4 course menu for €77 and a 6 course one for €95. I had a glass of champagne for €15 with an amuse bouche and ordered a bottle of Petit Chablis for €42. The food was excellent but what made the experience so enjoyable was that the chef came out of the kitchen and served me himself. He also took time to talk to the other clients. It would have been nice if the waitress had smiled at me on my way out. #Franck Thanks for the Baileys!
