Excellent selections of Filipino cuisine. My wife, myself and friends have been there twice and did not disappoint us. The cooking is consistent and maintains its freshness and tastiness. The price is practically reasonable and good value for what you pay. We come from the east bay (Concord and Antioch area) and worth a drive and eat excellent Filipino food. Definitely will come back to try other specialties/selections and highly recommended if you're craving for good Filipino cuisine.

This is definitely my favorite Filipino Restaurant. Quality of food and Service are consistently top notch. In the 29+ years I 've been living in the Bay Area, I can only wish hope for better quality service in the majority of Filipino restaurants/establishments. Perhaps, you can learn a thing or two from Via Mare of America. Like for instance, not pretending you don 't know your customer when you know he or she has been in your establishment multiple times. At Via Mare, everyone is kind. I love hearing the staff use the word 'opo ' when addressing their customers. The chef makes every mouth-watering dish with utmost love and attention. My personal favorites are the Snapper Escabeche, Pansit, esp Canton, Kare-Kare! Most importantly, Via Mare of America knows how to return kindness with kindness by providing great service. Unlike other Filipino restaurants, Via Mare knows not to make you feel like you owe it to them that you have chosen to dine with them. Thanks Via Mare of America for setting the standard! I loved the food there. The Calamari, fried chicken and pancit was really great I would recommend it to my friends.
