There are also issues with the doors: in the jazz hall, the spring on the outside door is too weak, causing it to not close properly and letting in the freezing cold, much to the discomfort of the patrons. Even the staff, except for the excellent bartender and waitress, seem unaware of the problem. Additionally, the door between the two concert rooms could use better insulation or a double door setup; it’s simply unacceptable to have a jazz ballad disrupted by a lack of soundproofing.

The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was incredible! I was frustrated with the parking situation initially, but once I tasted the food, I felt like I was in heaven.

I was craving some comfort food, and this restaurant did not disappoint! The gumbo, jambalaya, brisket with gravy, and cheesecake were absolutely delicious—truly magical! I will definitely be coming back.

It's laid back. Live bands. Not as ghetto as the rest of deep ellum. I'll visit again.

I was part of the sound crew for the 2024 New Years Show. I ordered some wings and fries after the setup. Not bad.
