Saint Rocco's New York Italian - Dallas

Went to the restaurant on Friday night. Our server Alex was excellent. I don’t usually leave reviews but his customer service was top tier. The drinks were good, the food was good (mozzarella sticks, chicken Alfredo, scallops, and tableside pasta). Only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because I love booths and I didn’t see any. I also like a saucy chicken Alfredo and mines was a bit drier than I prefer.

Manny is by far the best! Have been here twice, he always gets it right! Props to Manny!

I first want to shout out our server Manny! He was AMAZING, we were sat quickly but no server came over for a bit of time and he saw us there and immediately said he would take care of us and apologized for our wait. He was very attentive and helped with recommendations as we had never been there before. While I say he was quick and very great at his job some areas were lacking. We ordered drinks from their holiday drink menu and it took forever to get our drinks. We got the Fried Mozzarella for an appetizer, those were great!!! We got the appetizer before the drinks arrived. so that was eh I got the Alfredo which is Fettuccine pasta, grilled chicken, basil pesto, pine nuts and parmesan cream sauce. While the pasta and sauce was great the chicken was dry and seemed flavorless without the sauce. My husband got the Sausage Cavatappi* which is House sausage, arrabbiata sauce, fresh mozzarella and pulled basil. He enjoyed his. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and Manny brought us a slice of bread pudding which we both agreed was phenomenal. Overall we had a great time, just wish for the price paid on the entrees that the dish blew me away as much as the desert did. Manny, you get 5stars, never lose that spark/energy!!!!!

Celebrated my fiancé’s birthday dinner here and it was just ok. The service was amazing from start to finish but the food lacked sooo much flavor. We ordered the calamari to start which only tasted good with the sauce. My fiancé got the table side pasta with a side of grilled shrimp. I got the chicken marsala with fettuccine pasta. While the pasta was cooked to perfection both entrees were bland. My fiance also got the Cotton Candy Martini as her bday freebie which she said tasted great. We enjoyed the ambiance and service but probably won’t return.
