Ruth's Chris Steak House - Dallas

In the past, I have always ordered the lyonnaise potatoes, which were typically sliced and fried with onions. They used to be fantastic, but I have to say “used to be” because they’ve changed them to fingerling potatoes instead of the original sliced variety. A piece of advice: if it’s not broken, don’t fix it! Those fingerling potatoes looked sad and were incredibly dry—I won’t be ordering them again. Such a disappointment. After our meal, since we were celebrating my friend’s achievement, I expected they would take our dessert orders and bring her dessert on a plate with “congratulations” written in chocolate. Instead, they presented a plate with "congratulations" written in chocolate featuring a small bowl of vanilla ice cream and a rather uninspiring pumpkin cheesecake. My friend isn’t a fan of pumpkin, so she offered it to me, thinking she’d let me enjoy it since I love pumpkin. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst pumpkin cheesecake I’ve ever tasted. I couldn’t even finish it, and I typically have a weakness for sweets! Then the waiter brought out the dessert menus. What? They should have taken her dessert order first and let her choose whatever she wanted, then brought it out with a "congratulations" note on the plate. As for me, I ordered the crème brûlée, which was fantastic. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and most of the food met my expectations for Ruth’s Chris. However, I really hope they bring back the "old" lyonnaise potatoes. And honestly, those mini pumpkin cheesecakes need to be reconsidered as well. The Ruth’s Chris I cherish is so much better than this. Thanks for listening!

Everything was wonderful! From the valet service to our server, Chuck, who was outstanding! We celebrated our one-year anniversary, and they truly made it unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious—I'd highly recommend the stuffed chicken and the lobster mac and cheese.

I took my son here to celebrate his 11th birthday, and the experience was incredible. Our waiter, Chuck, was exceptional and ensured we received top-notch service throughout our visit. The food was fantastic as well. Can someone please send me a gallon of that lemonade via FedEx?!

Great dining experience (as usual) with family. Chelsea was our wait person and she exceeded our expectations. The food was over the top. I highly recommend Rurh's Chris for any occasion!

Celebrated a friend's birthday and was pleasantly surprised when she received her dessert on a plate with Happy Birthday written in chocolate. Nice touch! Food and service were awesome! Loved the atmosphere and that it wasn't too dark. He lady singing at the bare was really good.
