Bidrage med feedbackThe gf and I visited for lunch this last Sunday when it was 15° out and there was nobody else in the restaurant. I've actually been wanting to try this place for awhile and it's ridiculous it took me so long to come in considering I literally live two blocks away in victory park.Anyway, it was a warm, inviting atmosphere and the server immediately offered us delicious Moroccan mint tea which warmed us up and was delicious. From there we had the labnah with pita terrific) and both did the citrus marinated chicken. On top of the food being great and it being super cozy, the overall vibe was perfect in large part because of the music. It was a mix of Arabic, downtempo, chill house and instrumentals and it was perfect and relaxing. Will be back.
This is a favorite of ours when in downtown Dallas. The staff is wonderful, the food is excellent, really a hidden gem. The beef tenderloin tagine is amazing, and the olives, oh the olives ...
I can’t say enough good things about this place. We were greeted by the owner, extremely lovely and wonderful person. The food was exceptional, brilliant, classic, Mediterranean flavors, with hints of Lebanese/other middle eastern cultures.More impressive than the exceptional flavors of the food was the hospitality. The gorgeous souls of the owner, Moe, and Shaimaa took care of us all evening. We will continue to down here for business, and I will continue to down here for pleasure. It’s amazing that this place offers such great food in the downtown Dallas area near American Airlines Arena, yet I feel like I was transformed into a small tavern and a different country. Look forward to seeing you again soon.River of Goods team
Food was excellent, and service and staff were wonderful! We just had one issue of being brought the wrong order for one person in our party, but the staff corrected it immediately.
We arrived at 5:30 PM before the stars hockey game. The restaurant was full, except for one last table for us. I would recommend an earlier reservation if you're heading to the game. Service was extremely slow, and the waiter got most of our order incorrect. The food on the other hand was really good. We enjoyed the beef cigar appetizer, although we ordered goat cheese. And we also really enjoyed the Medina salad. The best entrées were the lamb chops, and the beef tenderloin fillet. The Seabass was also really good, but unfortunately, the medallions of beef skewers were extremely tough to chew through. This is a very small intimate restaurant that feels like you're in the middle of Europe or Morocco! . Definitely recommend dining because of the delicious flavors, but I would make sure you give yourself plenty of time.
