I've been coming here for over 30 years but I was extremely disappointed with the service I received tonight. The server took our order for appetizers and as soon as we received them he was asking us what we want for dinner. you go to this restaurant not only for the food but for the experience and the experience this time wasn't great. Within a 15 minute time period our server came back 4 times to ask if we are ready to order. I would hope that after telling the server twice that we are not ready to order, he would wait until we ask him to come to our table when we are ready to order. This was not the Javier's that I grew up with. It felt like any other restaurant trying to get their patrons in and out as soon as possible. Unfortunate, won't be back at this place for a while.
