Cedar Springs Tap House - Dallas

DO NOT RENT HERE Maintenance orders are pretty much ignored, they have one guy it seems and he’s not very knowledgeable about HVAC. Waited a long time to get my HVAC issue handled. The hallways are filthy, they smell of trash, and just disgustingly dinghy. The parking garage gates have not worked in months and there is no security, I literally am afraid to park at night due to the robberies and vehicle burglaries. The parking garage itself has not been power washed in years and my shoes just track in black shoe prints even though I wipe my feet. There are 3 elevators but only 1 works. They keep saying they are waiting for parts but 2 1/2 months…yeah, ok. It’s obvious the bank has taken over this property, therefore, they are not putting any money into it. They should just let those that want out of our lease, to leave, but guess they are waiting for people to get legal involved. All in all, save yourself the headache, and don’t do it.

Lived here for 3 years, and the current state of the property is absolutely horrendous. Many likely health code violations, and a far cry from “luxury apts”… The common areas and the hallways smell like death and rotting food. Security is minimal or non-existent. Garage security gates, amenities, and elevators constantly broken.Communications between management and residents is non-existent except when it’s time to collect rent.Can’t wait until my lease is up so I can get out.

I mean it wasn’t that bad moving in really, we love the unit. spacious and the trash vallet is nice. however, we’ve had a few incidents with our neighbor, he’s tried breaking in twice. police reports have been made. and the management before the one that just came in, did absolutely nothing. and the new management is claiming they don’t know anything about it and that the old management isn’t answering them…like…what??? very very crazy. they’re looking at a big law suit now for sure. it sad, this place has the potential to be great but idk if that’s gonna happen any time soon. also two of the three elevators have been down for like 2 months now.

I'm not sure where to start. This place went downhill fast. I've lived here a few years and glad to say that I'm moving out. They fix NOTHING! Things are always broken. This building uses to be safe it's simply not. People have been held at gunpoint, cara broken into, homeless people in the halls. I've even went 5 days with my shower not working. The garage smells of animal urine. I could keep going. ..RUN, DON'T MOVE HERE!!!

The floors have not been mopped in weeks. And the elevators are constantly down. The second photo is from where a homeless person was sleeping literally feet from out front door.
