Ascension Coffee Crescent Court

I frequently visit Ascension since I live just a five-minute walk away. On my most recent visit, I decided to try the chicken sandwich for the first time. Unfortunately, the texture of the chicken was quite off. Brining is a common method to enhance the juiciness and flavor of chicken, but it can go wrong if overdone. In this case, the chicken had an oddly rubbery texture reminiscent of a juicy but unappealing piece of rubber. I recommend that you reevaluate your brining process for the chicken, as it seems to be a problem. If this gets addressed, I would be more than happy to change my review to five stars.

I visited Ascension for the first time with my best friend, and we had a wonderful experience. Although I don't drink coffee often, my server suggested a white chocolate mocha, and it was amazing! The food was also delicious, though it took a little while to arrive after we ordered, but I believe it was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone; the atmosphere was fantastic, and our server, Nancy, was very attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed even though the restaurant was busy. I'm looking forward to coming back for brunch this weekend!

The chia seed pudding was absolutely delicious, and I also really enjoyed the outdoor seating area. It's definitely a welcoming spot for a quick bite, as well as for dining in or taking out.

What a great cafe for breakfast! I loved the chic interior and vibes off the bat. Service was quick and friendly that just involved sitting where there?s space. For a place downtown, the price is very reasonable and quality really good! I especiallyloved the latte(with art) and eggs Benedict. Stop by and try this place out!

Ascension is fabulous, with a downtown hipster, bohemian, yetsophisticated vibe. You should follow your road to Ascension and transcend!
