Dairy Queen - Dalhart

Immigrant and ordered steak basket. Hot, fast and great service. It's old, but it was a great experience. Would recommend.

This Dairy Queen was a little sad. The outer smell of the city (IYKYK) came through the constantly opened drive thru window. This DQ seemed to suffer from a lack of personnel, so the service lasted a little longer, but was still quite good. We had to send a mistake back to the kitchen and it came back wrong. We have accepted and continued the wrong order.

We just left this location of dairy queen and not only was it highly disappointing, it is going to be a health department report at this point. There was a strong odor of stagnant water, there were flies everywhere, employees weren't wearing uniform and some weren't wearing gloves while handling food. There was an ice scoop on the floor by sink next to dropped fries. We ordered tacos and a shake and we ended up.throwing it all out. Taco shells were stale and soft. When cashier handed the milkshake, the wrapoer for the straw was wet on one side. The entire experience was in disarray from food quality to cleanliness of entire place. The bathroom had flies, the trash was full, and floors were dirty. I'm not sure how this location is still open. We were driving through and we basically walked out with our food and threw it out. The place was busy and we didn't have time to debate our food or money spent. I dont believe we have ever experienced this level of unsanitary conditions ever in any food establishment.

For 2 a.m. on Tuesday with only a limited staff, they produced some great food, drinks and blizzards.

Just another Dairy Queen I go to and the lobby is closed. Sure I can go through the drive-through, but I am in a oversized moving truck. How am I supposed to do that? Allowing only small vehicles to go through the drive-through is discrimination. I really don’t like leaving bad reviews but I also don’t like having to park my truck, get out and lock it up just to go to the front door and find it locked. Also, here’s an idea, posted on your website so people know that the lobby is closed.
