Bidrage med feedbackI wish I had checked the reviews before our visit. My husband and I ordered the bride and pig combo, and unfortunately, the brisket was too dry to enjoy. The pig was okay, but not particularly impressive. The Brunswick stew tasted more like a vegetable soup than actual Brunswick stew. To make matters worse, the restaurant was completely empty at noon, which should have raised some red flags. Lesson learned. When I mentioned the dry brisket to the waitress, she just laughed.
The view was gorgeous, and the service was friendly and quick. However, the pulled pork could use a bit more flavor, and the smoked sausage tasted like something I could find at a regular grocery store. The coleslaw and beans were decent.
Fantastic staff! The food is outstanding. Be sure to try the corn casserole—it's incredible!
Had the three meat combination. Was very little meat on the plate. No taste for meat at all. I couldn't tell the pulled pig about the Briske. The few sausage pieces were good, but it was about half a connection. When I was from Brunswick and Savannah, I had to try the Brunswick stew. No, where it should be. It was more like vegetable soup. After payment of the 60.00 invoice, the three of us have left hunger. Then the people from the area asked where we ate, and they said we shouldn't have gone there. They got us this time, but they won't get us back. Total disappointment.
Friendly service and good food. The BBQ itself is pretty decent. Nice flavor but a bit dry. Required dousing with barbecue sauce. We were there toward dinner time so... who knows. The sides are a bit more... meh. They have some habanero BBQ sauce which gives a nice heat and flavor to everything. Definitely try it.
