Driving threw Boxmore see this lovely pub ,had breakfast, such a lovely owner really friendly and felt at home food was good ,definitely going back

I’ve been attending regular Tribute Events other interesting events this pub for some time now. Have enjoyed a wide variety of talented artists including Elvis, Tina Turner, Elton John Frank Sinatra to name just a few. These events are free entry on a Saturday night, midweek Tribute events include a 3 course selection of lunches for £15. The pub also hold numerous other events including Coffee mornings, Bingo/Music nights much, much more. This pub has become my second home, my only wish is that I lived closer so that I could visit more frequently. Meals are also served throughout the day/evening are value for money as well as very tasty. Drinks are reasonably priced. If you’re ever in the Hemel area this pub is a real gem find.

We had a booked a meal for which we had paid in advance at this pub. Because of a medical problem we arrived slightly late. Initially we Were Promised a refund but then we're told we could not have any money back for a meal which we had already paid for! We were not allowed to sit at a table or eat the food which as I stress we had already paid for!! The staff were unbelievably rude and unpleasant to us. We were also there to see a so-called tribute act which was an utter joke. Loud and completely out I tune .
