Take 5ive Cafe - Cypress

Take 5ive is the on site restaurant at the Navy Golf Course in Cypress. It refers to a military term to take a break . They offer multiple bfast and lunch items like burritos, burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads. Their menu has changed in the few years I have been coming here, as has the service. Now you order at the bar, and the food is brought to you. They also offer a full bar. I ordered the tuscan kale salad w/ quinoa $8.50 inc bread). The salad was surprisingly large and very satisfying. I kept chomping and there was plenty of greens in my bowl. The dressing paired nicely with the ingredients: 4 Stars. Regarding the ambiance, they changed the seating in the dining area to primarily high tables for 2. I preferred the old seating where it was primarily standard tables for 4. Nonetheless, the furniture is new: 3 Stars. On the other hand, the service from the bartender/waiter was good. He was very friendly and attentive: 4 Stars. The experience here was much better vs Derricks at Black Gold. As I said before, the more low key the restaurant at a golf course like Take 5ive), the better the food.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding (Ceremony and Reception) at the Eagles Nest Club House on 5.1.15. It was the perfect day! We would not change anything about our day and with the staff at the clubhouse.

It was 5:00 PM. A little too early for dinner. So husband and I went for a walk around the park. Then we were like...let's go grab a beer at the golf course. (This bar is situated on the Navy Golf Course) So we walked here and sat at the bar for a brew. The bartender was friendly. The beer was nice and cold. The company was awesome (well it better be, I am married to him LOL) It is a very nice place for a quickie beer. And it's right here in the neighborhood!

Great food , great service, great view, perfect place to bring the family 4 a nice breakfast and fresh Starbucks coffee and 4 lunch they have the sports bar with a nice cold beer with friendly bartenders (Salvador and Ernie) and the menu with reasonable prices I Love the nacho 5ive and the clubhouse my favorites.

Great Ribeye! Slightly crispy on the outside and juicy throughout. Also had their homemade Apple Cider Sorbet which was so delicious!We sat in the booths so it was a very classy, cozy atmosphere. Great for taking the parents or in-laws out for a special occasion or just for a nice piece of steak.
