Bohemia Restaurant - Cusco

Pro- the service was nice, seemed like a family restaurant Cons- ordered from the pre-fixe menu, which not really many choices of traditional Peruvian dishes. The food was incredibly salty. We think the preorder was a tourist trap. We saw others who wished something more delicious from the regular menu (a chicken a rice type thing), we would have done that. But in the end we wished we had gone when we arrived, but they put a lot of pressure on us to stay... a bad sign. Step with other reviewers who say to avoid.

The service was horrible, we waited for ages to get our food and they wanted to charge us more than what was in the menu. Avoid this place.

This restaurant was modern with a Peruvian twist. I had Alpaca with potato and the Alpaca tasted similar to lamb. The staff were friendly and spoke good English.

I ordered a main and chocolate cake, wife ordered a main with a side of fettuccine. Wife receives and gets charged for two mains, waiter says that 's just a portion size. Helping her to finish then, I get full so when they collected the main I asked to cancel the dessert. Waiter said no because it 's already ready, to challenge him I say ok so it 's going to be out in next two minutes? He says yes yes but goes and sits down at a table with his friends around the corner out of view. When my friends pointed that out I walk over to the table and ask where is my cake? Then he only runs into the kitchen. 20 minutes later it finally comes out. I asked why he lied all he could say was oooh no I put some extra chocolate sauce for you... . Avoid.

At S20, this is very good for the price. A nice place, upstairs. We ordered off the tourist menu everyone was happy. A pleasant end to a busy day
