Carolla Pizza D.o.c. - Curitiba

Great pizza. They use a brick oven which provides a unique taste to the pizza. They also use tomato sauce unlike almost every pizza place in Brazil!!! The pizza is definitely more Italian style so the crust is thinner and has a bit more crunch. They have a ton of toppings and the best part is that they don 't use catupiry!! The fact that they use good tomato sauce and don 't use catupiry already gives them 2 stars. The pizza is tasty and comes out super fast. I really think that if they left the pizza in the oven for about 5 more minutes, it would be a little darker and would be even tastier but I will take what I can get. Their grande pizza comes with 8 slices and their big pizza comes with 12 slices. They have an individual pizza that comes with 6 slices. You get the option to choose 2 toppings for each pizza. Because the crust is thinner, the pizza is a lot lighter and you don 't fill up and feel bloated. My girlfriend and I ordered the grande pizza and when we demolished it, we were still a bit hungry so we ordered another one and took the leftovers home. We didn 't really need another pizza but I know I would have felt hungry in the morning without it. They have a really large wine selection as well.
