Takamaka Boutique Winery - Curepipe

This winery is outstanding. The atmosphere and beauty make it well worth a visit. The four wines we sampled were exceptional, with a delightful range from dry to sweet.

The staff is fantastic, and the owners are very welcoming! The drinks are incredible, especially since most white and rosé wines tend to leave a bitter aftertaste, but not the lychee wine here. My favorite dessert is the Eclipse!

We didn't make a reservation since we were informed it wasn't necessary. We tried four wines, which were enjoyable. However, the tour lasted only 10 minutes and felt quite rushed.

I had a pleasant experience at the restaurant. The small tour was friendly and concluded with a wine tasting session. We sampled four distinct lychee wines, each with its own unique flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, and the prices were reasonable.

Great spot to visit in Mauritius! The winery is beautiful, the wine is delightful, and the people are very friendly. The food is also excellent. You can choose to take a tour with wine tasting or just go for the tasting itself, which is what we opted for.
