In high school a classmate got his lunch from lepidor and everyone was super jealous! Never saw a tastier sandwich in our short time on earth. They have more pastry variety than other Asian bakery chains (like daifuku bread, my current fav). They also have stuff like grass jelly, taro sago dessert, egg pudding etc. frozen chives pockets, green onion pancakes, and more. no walk in cakes right now, and overall price friendly! One note about the 3% credit card surcharge I see others leaving negative comments on using debit cards or cash will help your dollar go further in support of mom&pops. Credit card companies charge high per transaction fees, especially to smaller merchants (mom&pop's) and even more so to lower transaction amounts. That's generally why you see minimum transaction amount required for card usage elsewhere. Anyways, debit card costs are much much MUCH cheaper for merchants, so feel good you're supporting local business!
Pastries are better than most other places. I only took a star away because of the plastic use. I wish they would just give everyone paper bags or something.
Taiwanese bakery with bread, baked goods, boba, and some prepared lunch food (e.g. yakisoba, rice dishes, etc). Recently, with covid, they seemed to stop making cake and started making frozen foods. I frequently come for their bread, it's soft and fluffy and is just the right balance of crispy vs soft when lightly toasted. They slice the bread for you when you purchase you can get thick or thin slices.
Like everything, but the coffee here, but that's because I am not use to their kind 9f coffee! The pastries are so tasty!
Amazing authentic Taiwanese bakery. Portions were huge.
