Bidrage med feedbackWe would’ve given them a 3. Although the food was good, our first food choice was not available. The service was quite slow and the waitress was very rude at the end. Given these factors we gave them 10% tip but she told us : “you probably need that more than me”. What in the world ? Her comment wasn’t necessary. Can’t imagine how this business has managed to stay in business this long.
Ordered the roasted pulled pork on pressed Cuban roll. The roll is very important and was very good. However, very little amount of pork and overboard on mayonnaise and mustard. There were pieces of the sandwich with no pork at all. I could barely get a feel for the taste of the roast pork since there was very little and too much condiments. I might try again and order extra meat and light on the condiments.
The flavors were appealing. Small sitting area with server wearing too casual outfit but again it is about the flavors of the food. I think the sandwiches may be the best.
We've been to Coco's about 6 or 7 times now. We have tried several things on the menu and continue to be amazed each time! These guys know how to cook. Always leave full not hungry! P.S. All the d COVID questions they ask you for the review I could care less about. We aren't scared, just hungry!
As a Puertorican kid, I grew up among Cuban families that resided in Puerto Rico. I also lived in Florida for 8 years and savored all kinds of Cuban cuisine. Coco’s is by far the best Cuban Restaurant I have visited in over 30 years. Consistency is the key! Others are good, but it depends when you go and who is cooking. I have never had that happen at Coco’s and the owner, Ivan greets you with that loud Cuban welcome that confirms that you are among family. I highly recommend it!!! ?? ?? ??
