Tried chicken Biriyani. It was far better than what we receive in Kerala in the name of Tamil Nadu Biriyani. Not over spicy. You can try once.

We went there on a weekday for lunch. Only biriyani was available since we went late. Seeraga samba naatu kozhi biriyani was too good. It's a must try. Chicken chukka was also delicious. Rate is nominal. Naatu kozhi biriyani was Rs.200 only.

Whenever visiting the restaurant, it was fully crowded. They have nice quail fry with deep fried. Biriyani was normal taste with one piece chicken and boiled egg with raitha and gravy. Their tea was nice and crispy vada also nice. Parking space available, located outer side of bypass road.

Sri Kumar Hotel, has opened its new branch on the outskirts of Cumbum. The first thing that strikes about this place is its staff. They are very dedicated , energetic and friendly. This is based on my last few month's experience of visiting them. They know the trick to make you a loyal customer. The ambience is good. Their Briyani, Chinese Specialities, veg and chicken soups and Starters are very good. While my kid loved their shawarma, the elders didn't like it as much as he did. For Parota lovers, I would recommend this place a try. You also get lots of local specials snacks, check out them. I love their karrupatti lemon tea. For two and four wheeler parking there is ample space. For kids there is a play area too. I am in no way connected with this hotel. Overall a great place to lunch or dine in Cumbum.
