Bidrage med feedbackThis honey Kettle fried chicken beats KFC every day! Her chicken is oozing with aromas, and when immersed in her hot and sweet sauce (in memory of Thai sauce), you want to go on eating. The coating was right, not too oily, but light and crispy. Their soft, buttery cookies must be smeared with lots of honey to be really appreciated. They even sell the cookie mix, so you can take it home and bake it yourself fresh. We also tried the fish rods, and find them blanding, but they are well cooked. The chickens and cookies are somewhat more expensive than your average fast food fried chicken, but it is worth it. Free parking is available on the streets and nearby public areas. There is even a cinema complex over the street, so take the family there after the meal! A great and affordable family trip.
The lemonade at HKFC tasted like it came from a cheap pre-made bottle rather than fresh lemons, so it was just average. The frying could have been done in a different type of oil, not vegetable oil. However, the pickles, cookies, and chicken sauce were fantastic. I also wish HKFC offered vegetable sides that weren’t mixed with mayonnaise or served cold. Overall, I still think HKFC serves some of the best roasted chicken to be found in Southern California.
If the service improved, this restaurant would easily deserve 5 stars. The food is fantastic, but the slow service makes you spend a lot of time waiting.
The largest fried chicken I've ever had! The chicken is perfectly cooked, ensuring that each bite is delicious. It's not overly greasy, and the skin is incredibly crispy. While I'm not usually a fan of cookies, I absolutely love theirs, especially since it comes with a drizzle of honey on the side. Absolutely delightful!
