Brunello Trattoria - Culver City

I have to admit, seeing the soft-shell crab without any coating initially frightened me. I knew I had tried it before, but I was so used to seeing it breaded and fried that seeing it in its natural state made me think of the poor crab just trying to live its life while I was about to eat it. Nevertheless, it was delicious! The host and server were incredibly friendly, and I loved hearing "prego." The wine by the glass was $9, so I treated myself to a glass of Sangiovese. With tax and tip, my lunch came to $27. It was definitely a worthwhile lunch, though I indulged in the wine, which added to the cost. After my lovely meal, I returned to find a $50 parking ticket on my car—my own oversight! So, my lunch turned out to be a bit pricier than I had anticipated.
