He explained that he accused the closure of his selection at locations, although a new restaurant in...a more promising location was from his price class at the time he opened. He had to sign a long-term lease that he had looked through until the end, but felt that there was simply not enough business to pull on one of the big roads. His plans are to sit a bit back and see if he can find another, more promising location. I am sure that he can find one soon and return with his excellent Italian dishes and warm hospitality.
I was introduced by a good friend shortly after the opening to Aroma de Roma. I was blown away from the quality of food and the Italian owner/Koch Stefano, who gives his customers all the attention they want. Since then I have several friends... including restaurant owners and chefs to Aroma de Roma and they all agreed that it is excellent! I know that Cuernavaca has a large number of very nice gastronomic options, and I was to most, yet I find myself back to Aroma de Roma for lunch quite often. There I enjoy a hearty soup, salad, duck with sides and a dessert for 65 pesos! The restaurant is small with seating for a maximum of 25 people, but since the restaurant has not yet been found, the seating was not a problem. Try it for yourself you will not be disappointed!

Unfortunately, one of favorite restaurants in Cuernavaca has closed. The owner, Stefano, told during a lunch last week that he was closing down that very day. He stated that he blamed the closing on his choice of locations, although to open a new restaurant in a more promising location was out of his price range at the time he opened. I am certainly in hopes that he finds one soon and can return with his excellent Italian dishes and warm hospitality.
