Aroma De Café - Cuenca

Excellent tamales, humitas, tigrillos, boloñés, hot chocolate, and more. A typical Cuencano breakfast and lunch hangout. My wife and I have visited several times and have always been pleased with the service and the food. We’ve also enjoyed the simple, authentically rustic atmosphere. Went back again today. Same as always. Perhaps the most reliable, consistent eatery of any kind we’ve been to in Cuenca. Day after day, week after week, year after year. Food, service and ambience combined. We’ve been visiting now for three years. Never once disappointed!

This place was recommended to us by an acquaintance, but it wasn't that good or at least not as what were made to believe

Nice place for a light Ecuadorian meal. Coffee, hot chocolate, Tamal or Ecuadorian pastry. Food and service are very good. Seating area is small but comfortable. Would definitely visit again.

Small residential cafe with good coffee and affordable small foods. I highly recommend the tamales.
