Chimpa's Pizza Av Los Faroles - Cúcuta

Ate here on the first night as we arrived at the hotel late. Great atmosphere and welcome and the food was delicious!

Busy and popular restaurant attached to the self catering apartment complex above. Service was a bit slow, but food was very good on the two occasions we ate there during our stay, particularly the leg of lamb baked in honey and rosemary.

The starter we order...It was frozen from inside, outside was warm, but inside you could feel the ice. That was the point when we have realized that it wasn't fresh it was frozen from before and even not microwaved properly Let's not forget that it is restaurant). Of course we politely explained that to the waitress , she apologized and ran to put these in microwave for longer... We left the starter and after some time came the main courses ...Unfresh, burned, dried up chicken with cold french fries and frozen-warm vegetables. Fish was similar to the chicken. We went to the waitress and explained that it is again everything is cold and it does not even look fresh at all. We haven't touched our main courses and paid our bill. I don't know what was more shocking the food or the ignorance of the waitress! Waitress explanation was that because we were not happy with our frozen starter she had to go to the kitchen and re-warm starter again! So...that's why she did not had time to warm properly our main course. That's the true story from Restaurante Los Faroles... So dear travelers, if you don't want to get a food poisoning my advice would be to skip this restaurant.
