Tea House 650 Cafe - Crystal River

I visited this restaurant with a friend after a day of shopping in the city. I ordered the quinoa bowl, and it was delicious! As a bonus, they also offered vegan peanut butter chocolate chip cookies.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover a restaurant with several vegan options. I ordered the quinoa wrap, which was served with a side salad and hummus. It was delicious! I also tried the vegan chocolate chia dessert, served cold, and it was absolutely delightful!

The dinner was enjoyable, and the tea was delicious. As for our meal, we ordered the vegan salad, which was quite bland and lacked flavor. However, it came with fresh pita and hummus, which was fantastic. We inquired about getting a side of the hummus with pita, but were told that was only possible if we ordered another dish. I really believe they should offer that as an option, since the hummus was the highlight of our meal.

I love this place and have been here since my child. I was so glad to come back after I moved away (and after I got vegan) to see that they had some vegan sweets! the owner makes vegan cookies/conses/brews or something that affects every day, she said. her eating menu is limited, but the owner said that she is happy to make us what she can.

Great place for a light meal.. awesome service and a great ambience.
