Bidrage med feedbackWe had absolutely the best beach, the greatest lunches, snacks, in our shaded palapa of Restaurante Destiladeras July, 2017. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, the ocean views spectacular. The place is family-friendly, boasts outdoor showers restrooms, has its own parking: please just tip the parking guy-but you probably know that. Destiladeras is the beach to the right when you step from parking. You can opt to order from the menu; or, right on the sand, rent a huge umbrella, chairs table for $200 pesos, $11.16 US, bring on your own coolers, snacks, salads, beverages. We chose to hang out in the shaded Restaurant order from the menu. Either call is a good one. Caution: the waves can be rough, so careful with kids, or you're not a strong swimmer. Yes, you can frolic like a dolphin close to shore, but unless you fancy yourself a Mark Phelps clone, don't venture out beyond the pounding surf line. I checked out the menu at the restaurant to the left of parking, El Nahui. Prices are 2X higher, judging from their wait staff mostly Caucasian diners, Nahui might have been entirely transported from an ashram in Northern California. Don't go there if you wish to be festive experience the colorful, more traditional Mexican scene.
On the West edge of La Cruz. Very nice view of the bay. Great Mexican dishes, very friendly service, inexpensive and a bottle of Tequila on each table.
