Beanies Cafe - Croydon

This restaurant is awful. The old woman named Kelly who works there is extremely rude and abrupt. The toilets are dirty and the place is very untidy. After eating there, I got a stomach ache. I will never go there again. Sunny Side Soft Play is much better, we have booked it for our daughter's birthday party.

I brought my son to this restaurant because he enjoys it there, but we were denied entry upon arrival. The manager claimed he was too old to use the soft play area, even though I explained that he just wanted to read books and play with the toys intended for younger children. Despite my efforts, they still would not allow us in. My son had a meltdown as a result and it was difficult getting him home. The staff's behavior was appalling.

Last Tuesday, 7th of November I went there with my 1.5 year old daughter to meet my friend with two sons. Like few times in the past, floor was dirty, toys were sticky and not even one was working. 4£ for each baby so the managment can change sometimes battery in their toys. But the worst came later at home. My baby girl got sick, she had diarrhea and today after 4 days she's still sick. My friend called me and she said her boys were sick as well, vomit and diarrhea! We have been there few times before and definitely will not come back never again.

They are very friendly, forgot my bag there once and was able to pick it up although the place was not officially open. Get soup and bread there at times, sometimes a smoothie. Good quality and staff are very friendly and polite.

My partner, our daughter, and I have visited this restaurant multiple times and our daughter adores the play area and food options available! The prices for the meals are reasonable and the portions are quite large. What really impressed us was that if we ordered a hot drink, it was served in a sturdy plastic cup that was securely sealed. Our daughter particularly enjoys the play area, which is filled with soft toys and covered in cushioned mats for safety. The climbing structure is also very safe, with foam padding all around. The ball pool area is another favorite of hers. We highly recommend this restaurant to families with children under the age of 5.
