Select Oyster - Crossing

I have enjoyed this restaurant so much that it's become my go to place to bring family and friends when they are in town. Incredible seafood, inspired cocktails with complex flavors, and a good selection of wine. Lovely in the summer when they have outdoor space. 10/ 10 recommend!

Oyster Select is our favorite restaurant and place to hang and enjoy a fabulous wine and meal! The service is amazing and Brian and Gina at the bar make you feel like family the minute you walk in. I think this is the best place in Boston and not just Back Bay. We think they are simply the Best! Kim

We had not been to select oyster in a couple years, and I was really hoping it was still good. It did not disappoint. We ordered a lot on the menu, and all of it was creatively prepared, fresh, and delicious.

The quality of the oysters was so good that my husband ordered a second dozen—and ate them all! My Arctic Char was perfectly cooked—so moist it nearly melted in my mouth. Loved the bed of soft and delicious leeks on which it was served.

The hostess was rather rude and not at all customer focused. We sat at the bar for 20 min before anyone waited on us and bar tender and hostess seemed put off when we asked to be served. It wasn't all that busy either.
