El Pelón Taqueria - Crossing

I brought our college kid with their 4 friends and all 6 of us enjoyed what we ordered. Ingredients were listed on the menu but do mention any sensitivities when you order. Personally, my beans were cooked to perfection, which says a lot to me. Total witha generous tip was $103. Great night out!

Came here before a Red Sox game. This place is authentic. I got one of each taco; a grilled chicken, grilled steak and braised pork. All came topped the same way with pickle cabbage, beans, cucumber and sals All cooked exceptionally well but found thesteak one a touch on the dry side but it still had good flavour Quick to make, quick to eat and reasonably priced

What is going on with Pelón! Used to be my favorite spot, but more recently the quality has gone down. Specifically tonight I got a huge chunk of tomato in my food…I think we can agree that a huge chunk is not pico de gallo. The rice and guacamole inthe burrito was also tasteless. Sad :

Authentic tasting Mexican foods, maybe even too authentic. The tacos were falling apart as we ate them. Corn tortillas are the standard. The guacamole was okay, the salsa was nice and chunky.

Amazing fish tacos with an interesting twist! Love the cucumbers and the sauce which has a little bit of spice. The staff were very friendly and the facilities are clean. Plantains were also great.
