On my most recent visit, after quite some time away, I decided to try the pappardelle ragu. Unfortunately, it was very bland—I didn't taste any of the distinctive flavors promised in the menu. The dish mainly consisted of beef on pasta, and the sauce seemed to be mixed in with the beef, leaving me with little else to enjoy. I ended up only eating the pasta and a bit of the meat. It was an odd combination. The prices here seem quite high, especially considering it's out of the way for us. It can be a hit or miss experience; I've had much tastier Italian food elsewhere. I like to give places a fair chance before deciding how good or bad they are. The restaurant was quite noisy during our meal; we struggled to hear each other even though it wasn't packed. My mom ordered a half lager for £3.30, which I think is overpriced. Great food and friendly service. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around £30–40. The food, service, and atmosphere were all rated 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Margherita Pizza and Creamy Garlic Mushrooms!
