Bidrage med feedbackLocated beside the Northbound lane Of QE#2 and the former site of the old Wessex Restaurant. Easy access from the highway and ample parking. Everybody is parked at the Timmy's next door. But we like real food and Good coffee. This is our 2nd stop here travelling from Calgary. We were not disappointed. The service was great and so was the hearty breakfast. I had the delicious Egg Mountains and hubby had the Western Pan. What I really like is that they have real proper hashbrowns. Not the shredded paddy kind that has no taste. Breakfast cost us just over $32.00. The waitresses are always friendly and a bonus is that it is usually quiet. Keep up the good food folks and we'll drop in again next year.
Went to Humpty's today for breakfast bc post-Piloxing breakfast was burned to a crisp by SOMEONE grrrrrrr _Anyways, I honestly didn't even know this place
I love the old style decor The juke box sounds greatI'm a sucker for old school stuff The servers were friendly and attentive.
Some food good most very poor gravy is gross, waffles and pancakes not good, extreme pierogies really 5 pierogies with some stuff on them nasty and for $15 lol wow. Chicken burger is gross, chicken fingers not very good, I've been served bad fruit and vegetables my son could bend his carrots in half with out breaking then. Bread on any sandwich soggy I don't areactamen this restaurant to any one. I had a server tell me she wouldn't eat the food she served me and gave me a $4.00 discount, I paid because I don't bother with arguments I'm just done and never going back. Much more food I've tried it's not worth it it's just disapointing.
Not much for family restaurants in the town of Crossfield. We ventured out to the highway to meet some friends for lunch. Food was ok- what you expect really from a truck stop. Service much the same. Kind of middle of the road. I did chuckle at meeting new friends at the only real safe bet in Crossfield and having a condom dispenser in the washroom. Nothing like dropping $2 on a "rough rider" rubber during after church brunch. I do find this restaurant always clean and well kept.
