Bidrage med feedbackWe stayed a week in the area of Crosby and have eaten many times, but Croft was the best experience we had. The Walleye was excellent. Unfortunately, her cream Brule was not available as a take-out option and we were already filled from the Walleye and very tasty crushed potatoes. The only disappointment was that we didn't win the meat refinery. If we're back in the area, we'd go back to Croft and take friends.
This place is a little rough around the edges and not necessarily family friendly (lots of over-served patrons around the dinner hour, plenty of chain smoking, and harsh language). Nonetheless, it has excellent food and reasonable prices. There is a pool table, darts, A-hole, and pulltabs. The inside has a large amount of seating. The atmosphere is boisterous. They have a large food menu and a decent amount of beers on tap (although surprisingly no beer menu). I would not bring children under the age of 16 or 17 here, but it otherwise is a decent spot for adults looking for good food and a party-like atmosphere.
My review is biased, my uncle Giovanni Is the cook here. So needless to say it's bomb food. Other great staff at the bar too. Very small-town pub but great quality
The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and they have an excellent selection of beer. Plus, there's a billiard table and a weekly meat special!
Unexpectedly delightful! I was pleasantly surprised to discover such an ambitious eatery in this city. Thank goodness I stumbled upon a place that offers more intriguing options than just burgers, fries, and light beer. I decided to try the most unusual item on the menu: a sandwich featuring smoked corned beef, a fried egg, and green chiles on marble rye. It was absolutely delicious!
