Clifford's - Crookstown

My Husband I were driving from Inishannon towards Macroom today on our way back to Killorglin when we spotted Cliffords Bar. We decided to stop at Clifford's Bar for our lunch. It was a bitterly cold day we were thrilled to be greeted by such helpful staff and a lovely open fire burning in the Bar. We were spoilt for choice with a great number of options to choose from.I had Bacon, Cabbage, turnips and boiled potatoes. My Husband went for the Steak.It was 5Star treatment all the way- we were even offered second helpings. We will certainly be recommending this Bar Restaurant to all our friends. Thanks again for a most enjoyable lunch. It is nice to see some places can still excel at what they do.

A great place for a night out good music and food and a mighty craic

Stumbled across on our way to Kinsale. Don was just opening the door and asked if we wanted a full breakfast. Thanks for rescuing us from being hungry! Food was great and we got to chat a bit. Good luck to your kids as they pursue their college studies and we'll be sure to stop in again the next time we are in Ireland!
