The Dead Fish Restaurant - Crockett

Good food, good vibes, and good service. We were seated quickly and our food came out faster than expected. It was pretty busy for a Friday night but not too overcrowded.

Food: 5/5 I have always have an excellent experience here and the food is consistently good. The fish and chips are one of the best I have ever tried. Flaky, fresh, and even the fries are crunchy and well seasoned. Mussels and shrimp had a delicious butter sauce to dip in and both were impressive in size (in comparison to other seafood restaurants) Service: 5/5 Every host and waiter was friendly and helpful. Thank you to the person who helped prevent all of us from getting stung by bees. Ambiance: 4/5 There is a beautiful view of the water and bridge here. It is normally quite packed and even during this experience there was a waiting time to sit outside. The bees/flies made the lunch slightly disappointing, especially because they landed on some of the food. I do understand, it is nature and something slightly out of one's control.

I'm not a fish person but love fish and chips and fish sandwiches. The fish and chips here are good. The fish sandwich was bleh. It had no sauce. No tartar sauce, not even any mayonnaise. The service is good and the ambiance inside and out is very nice.

Excellent experience and food. The server was so nice, even when she was slammed. Great menu, great food, great experience.

Celebrated my mom 64 birthday. Great food and service no complaints. The ambiance was ok we didn't like the back room so much but we dealt with it no biggie. Can you believe they do not do gratuity. They should consider it I have heard stories and felt really bad for the servers that have to deal with people that do not tip. We loved our server he was great and of course we tipped cash it was 20%. We will be back
