Stalwart Steakhouse - Crockett

I would gladly drive two hours from Houston to Crockett just to enjoy another meal at this restaurant. The owner greeted us at the door, and even though we arrived close to closing time, we never felt rushed. Instead, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and delicious food. Based on the server's recommendation, I ordered the filet, which was cooked to perfection and served with the most amazing whipped sweet potatoes, asparagus, and warm bread. I was curious about the roasted potatoes, so the server graciously brought me a side, and it was definitely worth every bite, even though I already had more than enough food. My friends ordered the 12 oz ribeye and couldn't stop praising it. The highlight of the meal was the peach cobbler for dessert, which I had to take home, but I couldn’t resist having a warm bite before leaving. The only thing I regret is not taking a photo of the beautifully presented food, giving me another reason to return for another wonderful evening with Ms. Margaret and her fantastic, friendly staff. If you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, bring a bottle of your favorite wine to pair with this delightful steak meal and make your weekend evening truly memorable.

One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! It turned out to be more of a special occasion restaurant than we anticipated, but it was definitely worth the price. The staff was very friendly, and the service was prompt and efficient.

Amazing! The prime Hereford beef is seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service is exceptional. This is definitely the best steakhouse I've been to in ages. Be sure to visit and indulge in a five-star dining experience!

My husband and I visited Stalwart Steakhouse for the first time tonight, and it was everything we hoped for! Our server was quick, attentive, and courteous. The food was outstanding! Our steaks were juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back!
