Bidrage med feedbackExcellent service, fast and cordial. very good dishes for a reasonable price. large terrace with many seats. great location!
There is a large open terrace with beautiful view for the warmer ski days. otherwise there is a very cozy interior for lunch and drinks. service is very friendly and helpful. there is a very comprehensive menu of local specialties including cheese and...charcuterie there is a cheap daily price repair menu if they don't want the a la carte. I was a bit disappointed by the suppe of the day, which although tasty, but less than tepid arrived than I could have done with a winter warmer. otherwise a very pleasant lunch it is obliged to get mega busy in high season
We have visited this restaurant several times during the last years on our annual ski tour. it is warm, friendly and has a very comprehensive menu. eating was a good standard. as important and not so often found in the French ski areas. a decent toilet that doesn't get on any terrible stairs. when the sunshine it was a very extensive terrace, but this time we were good and really inside that warm when the weather outside was below zero. the only part and it is not a fault of the restaurant is that they must have a crest voland skipass or espace diamand skipass to visit it. a les saises pass sees a lift short! get the right fit and stop them for lunch. according to the waitress, they retire so they need to take all essential apres ski at another place
Perched on the top of one of the Crest Voland slopes, this has got to be one of the nicest ski slope restaurants we have visited. From the outside it looks like a standard restaurant, but as soon as you enter, the tables are all...laid for meals with very handy bags hooked to the table ready for your helmets and gloves. Pegs at every table for the ski jackets. Friendly staff who speak good English....although we always like to order in French. At first, I was slightly shocked at over Euros for a bowl of soup and Euros for a plate of cheese HOWEVER, see my photos, the soup bowls were huge and served beautifully on a wooden platter with a bread stick, and the cheese plate was just different local cheeses, a warm malted bread, salad leaves with balsamic, walnuts all beautifully served on a slate platter. And to top it all, we got served some lovely brown bread in a brown paper bag! What a beautiful touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and would definitely visit again when we go back next year. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the Les Saisies ski area, but this is certainly one of the best we have visited.
This must rank amongst one of the best ski restaurants anywhere. The food was fantastic beautifully served on slates with little pine cones or in cast iron pots all tasted exceptional. It was good value to given the captive market. We eat times but stopped everyday for Vin Chaud Chocolate Chaud which our expert daughter said was the best ever. When it was busy the service creaked a bit as it appeared a couple of the staff were new or just drafted in to help but the owner/maitre'de was very very good. This is worth getting the lift for Summer or Winter skier or not!!
