Edit Not sure if there was a change in management but the quality of sushi was outstanding the last visit. Kitchen foods were okay. Had fish bones in 2 of salmon sushi from omakase. Tuna (akami) smelled fishy out of date. Had high expectation since its operated by Japanese, but NOT worth it at all for this high price range.

Extremely high quality fish. Really nice vibe. Pricy though.

I was so worried when the previous Japanese restaurant closed, we used to love going there. We had a chance to visit Jegemu two weeks ago, the interior looks very clean and sterile, very different from the cozy feel the previous owners had. But, the staff is very attentive and the service was lovely from the getgo. The food is the star. All very fresh ingredients, there are great options, and every dish was delicious and unique. We had a wonderful meal and will definitely return. Really great restaurant!

Positioned as very upscale and pricey. Quality of fish is good, but not amazing. Amount of fish could stand to be a bit larger. Every piece of chef selection had wasabi in it. One was almost overpowering in the amount. To be fair the waiter did ask of wasabi was acceptable and I said to let the chef decide. 3 color bowl was good. Cheesecake desert was excellent. Service was excellent, prompt and attentive.
