Bidrage med feedbackI'm old to the area, and have been using Thai Spice House as our regular go-to for both take away and casual one-on-one nights out. The ownership or management seems to have changed hands a number of times over the years. The restaurant fit-out is basic, but still OK for a comfortable casual dinner.Over the years I have found their food offering good value for money. It's basic standard Oz Thai, but reliably good.Fave for us: Prawns Choo Chee ... as long as you can cope with the peppercorns.
I'm new to the area so trying out a few places. This isn't one I'll return to unfortunately. The food was ok but only just. There was nothing special about it and as my son pointed out, it was a bit tasteless.
Love this place. Great little Thai restaurant. Food is always fresh and tasty. Service always warm and friendly. Also great for coeliacs as they are a professional member of the coeliac society and have heaps of gluten free options and even gluten free beer! They have a lunch special menu on Fridays which is great as well. Highly recommended especially if you have a coeliac in your dining party.
Well welcome and very lovely services, got my food very quickly and waiter services was amazing ... Thank you , see you again.
My friend and I love a Thai meal after the movies and had heard good things about the Thai Spice House. It's on the first level a block up from the cinema on the opposite side and well worth the few extra steps. We chose to start with the Tom Yum Prawn soup, warming and delicious, Duck pancake with cucumber & shallot, and their special dumplings. For mains we shared the Crying Tiger and washed it all down with a couple of gasses of red wine.Service was excellent and the final bill at $63 for two; great value.Next time I'll double up on the Duck Pancakes and perhaps try the Soft Shell Crab and the Sizzling Seafood. Highly recommended.
