Bidrage med feedbackPros: This place is opened for lunch later that other restaurants in the areaCons: The lunch menu only has hamburgers pizza with salty Loco Moco. This was the worst place that we had for lunch while being in Hawaii.
Overpriced menu. Ran out of chicken for a salad. Slow service
We chose Ohelo Cafe for a meal on Monday mainly because we liked the menu and it was open.Seated quickly without a reservation. We were fortunate as the cafe gets busy, so book in advance is our recommendation.Great wine ? and beer ? choices. Both our dishes were delicious. The ribs were a sizeable portion and fruity sauce went well with them.Sadly no room for dessertHighly recommended if you are in the Volvano area. Parking: A few spaces outside cafe, and we parked on area next door
Blink and you'll miss it, which would be a travesty because the service is great, the meals delightful, and the desserts fantastic. I highly recommend you try their dessert sampler, which comes with chocolate mousse, creme brulee, and O'helo napoleon (a pastry smothered in homemade whipped cream and berry compote). Worth every penny. Parking: There are a few marked spots directly in front of the entrance, with additional parking in the dirt lot to the side. Kid-friendliness: High chairs/booster seats are available. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance has a ramp.
Great food and service. The fish in the sandwich was beautifully cooked and the guava bacon jam burger was great! Highly recommend after hiking at the national park.
