Bidrage med feedbackThe best fish and chips in Craigieburn Expensive but worth every bit Dil aioli is delicious Well worth it
Bit disappointed, asked if the squid was grilled, was told yes, but it came out deep fried. The squid was delicious, the chips were quite nice, however the 'Greek salad' could simply be described as 3 whole cucumbers, a single olive and a piece of tomato, oh a cube of feta. For $17 I feel there was plenty of squid, but the salad was pretty lacklustre.
Our family have had fish and chips here on several occasions and they have never disappointed. The staff is always friendly and pleasant. The battered fish is amazing. The Blue Grenadier with chips, salad and gherkin aioli is always a hit and there is so much of it that we often share it.Lately we have tried the Gluten free options such as Paella and Sea of Risotto which we found to be packed with flavour. This is definitely my first choice for fish and chips.
$14.90 for Australian blue grenadier served with chips, salad &a gherkin aioli. Coleslaw was a bit plain, otherwise fish & chips tasty & the aioli is beautiful. Clean place, good service.
I was so excited to find gluten free fish not far from home, but it was so hard to find parking! Then when I ordered 2 pieces of battered GF fish and chips, I almost fell over when they said $26 please! I was further devastated when I opened the bag and the "large chips" was a small bucket of chips. So as a once a year speciality, It is fine, but otherwise, just too expensive as a take away. BUT it is actually also a cafe offering other meals, so it is an option for somewhere to meet people. Oh, the fish tasted great, but worth it??????
