Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I had dinner here to celebrate my birthday. We got the bbq shrimp and the fried calamari for appetizer. The shrimp's garlic flavor was overpowering and I didn't like it very much. Calamari were good but a little greasy. Our entrees however were phenomenal! Best scallops I've ever had and the mushroom risotto was to die for. I also really enjoyed the coconut on the half shell for dessert. Service was perfect! Overall I would recommend this restaurant but I would not order the same appetizers again.
Amazing seafood everything was wonderful. Had the lobster dumplings, tuna tartare, and fried oysters for apps. Went with the Lobster Bisque and Scalibut for main entree perfect on both. Service was on point. Clean. Overall one of the best choices for seafood in NOLA you will not be disappointed.
The best fish in the quarter, lucky enough to be able to try the Dry Aged Yellowfin Ribeye! My wife had the Parmesan crusted Sheepshead, both were to die for! Thanks to our server Zach for excellent service as always! You are lucky if you are seated in his section
Amazing through and through. Would happily visit again
Dining at G.W. Fins was by far the best experience we had in NOLA. The lobster dumplings, wedge salad, Parmesan crusted halibut, and scallops with mushroom risotto were flavorful without overpowering the taste of the fresh seafood. The homemade dressings were tasty and the biscuits were light with a touch of sweetness. The service was exceptional from the greeting of the hostesses to being taken care of by Ernest and the other staff. The cocktails were delicious, including the non-alcoholic options. After visiting several highly-rated and recommended eateries, I’m glad we ended the trip here as the other restaurants were average. Be sure to visit. It’s worth every cent.
