El Gato Negro — French Market

Nice Mexican option on the back side of the French Quarter (near the French Market). If you find yourself on this side and want a casual option… this is a good one with many interesting margarita options!

If you want good food this is great. There Tacos are the best I’ve had the closest to them is a place in Biloxi. And I live in Florida. So that speaks volumes.

Best beef fajitas and margaritas I've had in a long time, and I'm from San Antonio! You gotta try the carrot and lime margarita and the Blood of the Gods margarita.

Good food and gluten free and vegetarian options. However service was slow and some parts of the order were incorrect.

Menu is more limited than the one found online. However, the chicken quesadilla with double rice was delicious. Bottled beer is only $4.75!! Service was great. Clean bathroom.
