Bidrage med feedbackOur server who took our order was engaged and very courteous. All servers were very knowledgeable about our choices. The mixed drinks were great. The appetizer was superb. Our entrees were very appealing and tasty. Great experience overall.
The food was creative, but didn't stray too far from the classical preparations of the dishes. Everything was wonderful. The service was as good as any I've ever experienced. This was a bucket list visit and truly lived up to the hype.
AMAZING SPECIAL. Will go back dine unique and creative dishes, such as venison tartare, bluefin tuna crudo, wagyu beef, and duck made three ways (I loved the crudo duck even though I'm not usually a duck person) • Exceptional service and an upscale atmosphere!
This was our second trip to August, the first time a few years after Katrina. Still GREAT! Truly elevated food both in taste and presentation in a beautiful dining space. Don't skip the corn muffin in the bread basket. It's worth the calories! Three of us shared the wagyu tartare, tuna, and escargot appetizers and also the duck, kohlrabi, and red snapper entrees. All were excellent and the medley worked well. The amuse bouche was insanely good. We would have had dessert but the service slowed down a little bit too much for us at the end.
From the time you walk in the door at Restaurant August, you feel like you're in for a treat. Our table captain, Felecia, was world-class, as well as the rest of her team. The amuse bouche was like a taste of umami heaven, and the gnocchi appetizer is not to be missed. I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. Every time I've been has truly been among the best dining experiences of my life.
